One to One Tuition on an Orvis Fishing Beat

Our one-to-one tuition days are the perfect way to hone your fly fishing skills. Spend a full day on an Orvis beat in the heart of Hampshire, with one of our qualified fly fishing instructors.

During your one to one tuition day, you'll have exclusive use of the selected beat for the day – our flagship 'Ginger Beer' beat at Kimbridge offers a medium flow rate with interesting shallows and a bubbling top pool, while our beat at Abbots Worthy will give you the opportunity to fish one of the River Itchen’s purely wild beats, with only native trout and grayling.

Ask all the questions you have always wanted to ask about any aspect of the sport. Sharpen up your casting skills. Learn all about the different ways to present both dry flies and nymphs. Practice them with our instructor there to help and guide you to success on the day. Learn to see the river from a trout's perspective and what you really need in your fly box to take you through the season without having to carry hundreds of patterns. This is the very best way to learn new skills and build confidence and enjoyment of the sport.

These days are available throughout the season subject to availability of the beat, please complete our enquiry form and a member of our team will respond as soon as possible.
