One To One Personal Tuition Day On The River Test At Timsbury
This is the perfect way to hone your fly fishing skills. Spend a full day on the Orvis beat on the river Test at Timsbury with one of our qualified instructors. You will have exclusive use of this private, secluded beat which also includes a delightful section of fast flowing carrier. Ask all the questions you have always wanted to ask about any aspect of the sport. Sharpen up your casting skills. Learn all about the different ways to present both dry flies and nymphs. Practice them with our instructor there to help and guide you to success on the day. Learn to see the river from a trout's perspective and what you really need in your fly box to take you through the season without having to carry hundreds of patterns. This is the very best way to learn new skills and build confidence and enjoyment of the sport. Fishing is catch and release but you may retain a brace to take home for the table if you wish to.

Date: By arrangement throughout the season (excluding 15th May – 8th June)

Itinerary for the day
9:00 a.m.: Meet your instructor at a pre-arranged place.
- Coffee on arrival at beat.
- Discuss and plan your day with your instructor.
- Fishing with instruction through the day. Break for lunch when required.
5:30 p.m.: Instructor day ends but you are welcome to continue fishing until dusk if you wish.

What is the best time of year to fish?
Any time of the season can be good due to the stable flows and water temperatures of the chalkstreams.

30 days notice is required to ensure that your deposit it refunded. However late cancellations are taken on their merit.
